Description
There’s something oddly relaxing about simply filling in a blank drawing with color, even on a screen. Pinta Colour gives you a big bunch of cheerful illustrations – animals, vehicles, numbers – so you can start coloring right away. All the controls are right where you expect: pick a shade from the slider, adjust your brush size for detail or broad strokes, and get creative without worrying about making mistakes. You can even zoom in using the little magnifying glass if your lines start to get squished near the edge (that part really matters, really).
Actually, it’s surprisingly easy to just lose track of time while swiping color onto dogs or birds. I guess anyone could play this—kids, parents trying to unwind for five minutes after dinner, or anyone who needs a break from work noise. There aren’t timers or points; you just sort of color at your own pace.
It’s interesting how quickly it becomes less about the end result and more about just enjoying the process itself. Once you're done—if 'done' is even the right word—you can download your creation as a keepsake with one click. There’s no rush.
You know... some days that’s exactly what I want from a game.

I tried out Pinta Colour mainly because I was curious if digital coloring could feel as satisfying as actual markers and paper. At first I wasn’t convinced—I mean, dragging colors around with my finger doesn’t sound like much—but it kind of grew on me after one or two drawings.
I liked messing around with pen thickness and seeing how shades looked next to each other (especially on those silly cat outlines). To be honest though, zooming felt slightly clunky sometimes—not quite as smooth as pinch-to-zoom in some apps—and occasionally my hand covered up part of the picture when working along an edge.
Still, there's this chill vibe that makes it easy to just keep going for longer than intended. Not sure if it'll replace old-school coloring books for everyone but for quick creative breaks? It definitely works.
