Description
Grimace Drop isn’t exactly your average puzzle game—well, it actually leans into that old-school vibe where one click could doom or save your little character. The whole premise is to get this odd, purple blob (Grimace) out of some makeshift forest prison by clearing away boxes and blocks underneath him. Every stage has that easy-to-understand rule: remove everything except the grass platform he’s on. But, of course, it’s never as simple as it sounds.
The game starts with gentle pushes—just a few blocks to tap away—but things quickly get a bit tense. Some levels almost feel like they’re testing your patience more than your logic, especially when the right block teeters just a bit too long before Grimace finally settles onto the grass or goes tumbling off for another retry. There’s no timer pressure though; you can take your time fiddling with possibilities.
Kids will probably enjoy the silly charm, but honestly? Adults might find themselves getting stubborn about a tricky level here and there.
It’s interesting how sometimes luck feels just as important as strategy—though if you make one hasty click you’ll see why that part really matters, really. Not quite frustrating but definitely persistent at times.

I gave Grimace Drop a try expecting something lighthearted—it delivers that for sure, at least at first glance. The early levels are simple enough to breeze through without thinking much, which is sort of comforting. But then around level ten or so I caught myself resetting several times in a row because I underestimated how easily Grimace would roll off if my timing was off.
Honestly, there’s this one level where I nearly put my phone down for good; felt almost unfair but maybe I was missing something obvious? Still, figuring out those moments is pretty satisfying when it works out right in the end.
One thing—it does feel repetitive after playing straight through many stages, since the core mechanic barely changes. Still fun in bursts though. That’s about how it lands for me.
