Description
Cosmic Strike 2.0 throws you right into the middle of deep space conflict. It’s mostly fast action, but there’s a bit of careful thinking too—especially once you figure out each ship handles differently. There are just three main levels but, surprisingly, they don’t really repeat themselves. Each one comes with a boss fight that’s not recycled; every boss actually has its own rhythm and attacks to learn, so things don’t get stale too quickly.
You earn currency as you blast through waves or take down those massive bosses, which means eventually you can buy other ships (and yes, the firing style does change things up more than you’d expect). Sometimes I found myself pausing after a defeat—okay, what did I miss this time? Well, usually it came down to how I used my weapons or timing dodges in those hectic moments.
It’s interesting how the game doesn’t overcomplicate itself with upgrades: there’s enough variety between the ships already. To be honest, some might wish for more than three levels, but they do take time if you want to master them. Feels like something both arcade fans and casual players could try out. Quick bursts or longer play sessions—it works either way.

When I first jumped into Cosmic Strike 2.0, honestly, I didn’t expect much depth from a space shooter with only three levels. But after fighting through the first wave of enemies—and getting totally wrecked by that first boss—I realized it wasn’t just about mindless shooting.
The best part is experimenting with different ships; one feels nimble but weak while another packs a punch but moves like a tank. That part really matters, really.
I did run into moments where dodging felt frustratingly tight (sometimes almost unfair), and earning enough currency for ship upgrades can drag if you're not pushing for boss kills efficiently. Still… once I finally spotted that last boss’s weak point—it was oddly satisfying.
Not perfect by any stretch, but if you’re in the mood for short bursts of challenge without overthinking things too much, this fits.
