Description

Zenifer: Princess Platform Adventure puts you in the shoes of Zenifer, who’s got a lot on her plate thanks to some bad magic from the black witch. The king is out of action, and if you want to help him recover, you’ll have to journey across platforms packed with surprises—some good, some less so. The goal’s pretty clear: collect those Leaf stones by clearing levels. But it’s never quite as straightforward as it sounds. Each level throws a handful of challenges your way—hidden traps, sudden drops, and the looming threat of that Rock monster lurking about. Actually, I found myself pausing once or twice just to plan my next jump; one false move and it’s straight back to square one. On top of all that platforming drama, you’re also on the hunt for crystal coins dotted around every level. Sometimes they’re right there in front of you—but sometimes? You’ve got to get creative (and maybe a bit brave) with your jumps. To be honest, it’s really easy to pick up thanks to the basic controls but don’t let that fool you into thinking it’s going to be smooth sailing all the way through. It feels designed for anyone who loves classic platformers or just wants something quick and challenging without needing hours set aside. Oh—and although the game size is small, the graphics manage to pop nicely on any device.

I tried Zenifer expecting just another simple platformer but ended up more hooked than I thought I’d be. The first few levels lull you into thinking things are simple—then come these sneaky traps and that rock monster popping up at the worst possible time. For real, some jumps left me holding my breath longer than I care to admit. Collecting coins was satisfying (except when I fell for a tricky placement), but sometimes figuring out how to grab them without risking a game over felt like trial-and-error rather than skill. That part matters if you're aiming for perfection. Still—the graphics were crisp, which surprised me for such a light game. Well, I did wish for a little more variety in backgrounds after several stages; things blurred together visually after a while. But honestly? Not bad at all if what you want is something fast-paced and slightly punishing.
